FEEDBACK I’VE RECEIVED
"My daughter, who has an ASD diagnosis benefited hugely from her one to one sessions with Beth. At the start of her meeting with Beth, she was still on the assessment pathway and Beth helped incredibly with learning about and managing the aspects of autism which were at that time just coming to light after being masked during primary school.
“My child was able to explore her feelings and emotions around the areas which were causing her concern, with the topics being young person led. Subjects such as dealing with the school environment, noise, friendships and learning problems. It was a safe and incredibly helpful relationship, benefitting hugely from the security of regular meetings. Beth is very professional, kind, gentle and genuinely caring with a wonderful engaging smile that certainly immediately touched my child and I’m sure all others too. Beth gave me regular really helpful feedback and this also helped in supporting our daughter at home."

“Beth has been part of our family support network for the past 4 years. During this time my son has built a very special, trusting relationship with Beth. She is someone who he has great respect for outside of the family, who he confides in about his anxieties and difficulties he has navigating his daily life. She is always warm, friendly and fun and my son cannot wait to see her. Not only is Beth there for my son, she offers great advice and insight to help with the challenges we face at home and at school, helping my son to learn about his emotions and how we can best support him.”

“Words cannot really describe the impact Beth has had on my son. She came along about three years ago and completely followed his lead in play. Backing off completely whenever needed and being a great playmate whenever he was ready to play. She is now so incredibly important to him. She is his best friend. He feels she completely understands and gets him. This is a true gift to him in a world where he has no friends outside the home. Thank you for making this bond. It means the world to Alec “

“Beth has been fantastic with our son. He can be shy and wary around people outside of the family but is totally at ease with Beth. He very much looks forward to seeing her. Beth has a great understanding of him and has been great at helping him explore his feelings and emotions, whilst keeping it fun!”

‘Beth's yoga sessions for kids are fantastic. The sessions are always packed with inventive ideas, props, music and games to keep the children engaged from start to finish. As a parent it's clear how much effort and expertise goes into crafting each lesson, all delivered within a friendly and welcoming environment. Highly recommended!’

Our son, Luca is now 17 and has autism. Beth started play therapy with him when he was seven and
helped us over five years. In that time, he went from a child largely in his own world to a boy who
enjoyed company and conversation (although he may steer it towards his interests).
Her ability to engage Luca was obvious from the first session. Having felt quite negative about his diagnosis, we felt more positive just watching her with him. Beth used his interests creatively in games to entice him into communicating and interacting with her. She also helped us to understand
how to join Luca in his world without judging or demanding but always looking for opportunities to increase social interaction. He looked forward to Beth coming, knowing that he would have two hours of fun without realising that his social skills were continually being developed. Within a few weeks of these child led sessions, his eye contact increased dramatically and that was just the start.
Her belief in Luca and ourselves was infectious as was her enthusiasm and energy. For the first time we felt supported because she cared for Luca’s outcome passionately. She was willing to talk to any professional and visit Luca’s schools to make a difference. Meeting Beth was a life changer for all of
us.

“Beth came into school to work with my daughter on a 1-1 basis for over a year to help with her anxieties and self-esteem. Beth has a lovely combination of being very calm and approachable whilst also being great fun and my daughter, who is naturally shy, very quickly trusted Beth and really looked forward to their sessions together. Beth had so many excellent ideas for helping with anxieties and encouraging a growth mindset and my daughter still has lots of the posters they produced together around her room. She made a great difference to my daughter and I would really recommend her. “
